Makarska and Biokovo

20 km northeastern is the harbour town Makarska.
With its ancient centre, the beautiful seafront and the old stone buildings it is definitely worth a visit.
Not for nothing the whole region is called „Makarska Rivijera“

Rafting Cetina

About 50 km from Zivogosce the cristal clear river Cetina flows trough beutiful canyons and untouched landscape.
Enjoy the rafting adventure in the beautiful Cetina river canyon!

Zipline Omiš

Another breathtaking attraction is the zipline in the canyon of Cetina.

Dubrovnik

Ca. 120 km southern is Dubrovnik.
Official World Heritage Site of the UNESCO……you just have to visit it.

Climb and hike

There are a lot of hiking trail on the hillside of the mountain Biokovo above Zivogosce.
These hiking trails follow the old paths of the peasants and inhabitants of the mountain villages and are partly left in its original condition (i.e. hiking boots necessary).
Using these trails you can reach the old village Grize, the cemetery of Zivogosce with a beautiful panorama view or the villages Strn and Murava.

Island Hvar

Across from Zivogosce is the famous island Hvar. 
Favourite destination from Zivogosce is the Mlaska Bay with fine sand gently sloping into the sea.
The ancient Roman cities Hvar and Starigrad are located in the north of the island.
Day trips can be booked at organisers in Zivogosce or arranged private.
